SENATE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS A 3.4 PERCENT INCREASE FOR NSF


April 19, 2012

U.S. Capitol Today, the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill (CJS) and provided $7.273 billion for the National Science Foundation (NSF). The appropriation is $100 million below the President's request of $7.373 billion, but is $240 million, or 3.4 percent, above the FY 2012 appropriated level. Full story
